Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate (TSPP)

Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate (TSPP) is a widely used sodium phosphate in food and industrial applications. In many food applications, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate is used as a pH buffer and promotes the binding of protiens in meats and soy based meat alternatives. TSPP is also used as a buffer, an emulsifier, and a thickening agent in many food processes. Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate is also used in many industrial applications such as detergents and the mining industry.
